Yesterday was the most amazing day/night of our lives!
Yesterday as I walked through the doors and out onto the lawn, I saw (most) people who love and support Luke and I starring at me with smiles on their faces as I locked eyes with my groom. As I got closer I could see him trying to hold himself together, but he couldn’t. He cried, I cried, both my parents cried. We exchanged vows, then exchanged rings, before our celebrant pronounced us husband and wife. Now, we continue our life together, but now we’re complete. The weather was perfect and the whole day was exactly what I dreamt my wedding would be! Thank you to those who made the effort to travel and celebrate our special day with us, it meant the world to us. And we can’t thank our best man white formal dresses Ash and groomsman Damien enough for fixing the dress and deck issues that arose last minute and promised they’d make sure my day was what I wanted it to be. Thank you to my maid of honour and sister Caity , and my bridesmaid and long lost cousin Stacey for being by my side the whole time. Mum and Dad, thank you for the beautiful necklace and your love and support always. Our beautiful children did the most amazing job walking down the aisle and even surprised us with speeches during the reception. To our celebrant, Jude, from the moment we met you we knew you were our celebrant, we never even met with another. Jayne McLean from bright eyes photography and Mark and Kathrin from ruffit media videography - wow, just wow! What incredible people, who went above and beyond to capture everything I had envisioned. The staff at the Portsea hotel. Thank you for going to every extreme (even getting an electrician in at seven in the morning) to make me a happy bride. And most of all, thank you to my husband, for giving himself to me, as he is. I meant every word of my vows. You are perfect to me and I will love you always and forever. I am so happy and so in love, I still cannot believe we are married!
